Product Description: Hi-Sierra crowns and bridges represent our most highly prescribed restorations since 1994. This versatile system consists of a 90% Au 10% Pt cast alloyed veneered with a wear compatible ceramic. The Hi-Sierra restoration offers natural esthetics with adequate strength for up to a three-unit bridge in all positions in the mouth.
ADA Insurance Code: Single Crown 2720, Bridge Abutment 6750, and Bridge Pontic 6240
Product Indications: Single crown or up to three-unit bridge in all positions in the mouth. The Hi-Sierra Series is ideal for anterior crowns or bridge abutments with less than 1.0mm of facial reduction.
Product Contra-Indications: Not recommended for posterior restorations with less than 1.5mm occlusal clearance or metal bearing occlusal restorations.
Recommended Preparation Type: Conventional crown and bridge preparation technique is recommended.
Recommended Incisal/Occlusal clearance measurement (mm): The recommended clearance is 1.5mm for anterior and 2.0mm for posterior.
Recommended Shade Guide: Vita Classic, Chromascopâ, and Bioform
Recommended Cement and Technique: Any crown and bridge cement can be used. The best bond strength is accomplished by tin plating the internal surface and bonding with Panavia or Meta Bond C&B.
