Product Description: With the advent of esthetic dentistry, Team Drake offers the dentist and patient a valuable protection for their investment. Comfort Zone Bite Splints are fabricated entirely from a slightly flexible, thermosensitive material, which allows custom adaptation for optimum patient comfort. Comfort Zone Plus Bite Splints are dual processed with the highly dense Ivocap processed methyl - methacrylate resin as the occlusal surface and the flexible thermosensitive resin as the liner. This provides excellent occlusal wear resistance combined with the ultimate in patient comfort.

Product Indications:

Comfort Zone Bite Splints are indicated for patients with a light to moderate para functional habit or for protection of significantly restored anterior dentition.

Comfort Zone Plus Bite Splints are indicated for patients with highly destructive para functional habit due to the excellent occlusal wear resistance of the Ivocap processed resin.

Product Contra Indications:

Comfort Zone Bite Splints are not recommended for patients with a highly destructive para functional habit.

Comfort Zone Plus Bite Splints have no known contra-indications.

Recommended Cleaning:  Conventional denture cleanser and/or Toothpaste and Tooth brush is recommended.

Recommended Impression Technique/Material: Alginate is recommended if it can be poured immediately and separated no later than 1 hour after being poured. Vinyl Polysiloxane is the second choice.  NO PUTTY WASH MATERIALS SHOULD BE USED.
